must be nice to be so rich that you can spend on such fripperies!
I always wonder if the very wealthy are not also very bored. After a while, you've bought everything. But still, it must be cool to wake up and not worry about anything except what to put on your $40,000 ipod shuffle.

my mom used to say, "when you're that rich, there's nothing left to wish for." i guess that makes sense, but it would be nice to never have to worry about money again!

Exactly. I'm sorry that kind of spending makes me want to barf. It's one thing to buy a jewel you can hand down to your granddaughters one day, something that retains it's value and is classic... but that kind makes me kind of sick!

Hope I'm not offending anyone - but seriously. The people who buy that stuff have WAY TOO MUCH MONEY and there's something wrong with the world when a person is comfortable dropping that kind of cash on a Hello Kitty purse or whatever it is. Even Oprah shouldn't be buying things like that!!

i am pretty sure noone (or at least very very very few) buy these items. most of these diamond encrusted daily or electronic whatever is just made for show and advertising or media coverage. no better way to get you company name out there without much cost involved

they're fun! I think they were made as showpieces for the companies who made them. not really intended to sell...except probably to an arab shiek or something!
