I bought a caresse d orchidees ring for my mom back in spring of 2009 for $3,050. I sold it last ear because I needed the money to pay bills and found out it has gone up in price a lot to 3750. It was pink gold with two small round diamonds.

Just my two cents from a 24 year old guy

I like the bird motif pendant but not sure if its worth the price. What do you guys think? Its the one with diamond and tiny emerald
IMO dear lady nothing is "worth" the price at Cartier :)) there is never any such thing as bang for your buck when it comes to designer jewelry. Only would cartier charge 4000 for 12 grams gold that costs 500

when it comes to designer goods it's not so much about the price of raw goods and how much that cost compared to what the designer is charging, yes it's part of the cost but we're also paying for craftsmanship, impeccable design, experience, and packaging.

imo nothing I worth its price of raw materials, there's always a markup and if it's worth it, that's up to the buyer ;)

btw ladies just made a purchase yesterday, I'll reveal when I pick it up in a week or less :graucho:
