Yes, opted for black for its simplicity and will go with everything, not to mention I won't have to worry about color transfer.
Sounds great! Is it smooth leather? I kind of wanted to get a colorblock one in pebbled leather, to try something new

Longchamp Le Pliage, Le Pliage Cuir and Roseau, plus the occasional Okay's, Dkny canvas and Marni for H&M. I own several LP's and they get the most wear.
Do you have the Le Pliage, or a different Longchamp? I was also eyeing Longchamp's Penelope, but have yet to see it in person.
Yea the le pliage . It's old trusty. The corners are wearing a bit after 2-3 years (I have used other bags in this time not just that bag).
I think it's a staple and you can always get another higher end work bag so you have at least two.
You can get the corners fixed. Longchamp does this free of charge once during a bag's life. Just contact your nearest LC reseller.
I agree totally on the LP being a staple. My bag closet would feel empty without the stash of Pliages in the corner. It's such a versatile and super durable style.
I've seen teens carry it as well as ladies with a Birkin on the other arm. Some even use it as a bag lifesaver - just carry the LP folded in your high end bag and in case of rain, mud, slush, slip your expensive bag in the Le Pliage which will survive just about any force of nature. It'll do all this and more with grace and style.

I also have the neverfull, chanel gst, a denim gucci tote, and random leather coach totes that I alternate to work.
The McQueen legend bag is very beautiful but I am not sure if it's heavy. Looks heavy.
I know some drop a fortune on a bag and use that one bag religiously day-in, day-out. I like to rotate my bags according to occasion, weather, outfit, etc. Along those lines, I like to have a separate bag for work. Recently I've been looking into a classic Gucci canvas tote vs the Alexander McQueen leather Legend tote, and am eagerly awaiting receipt of my packages to compare. Alternatively, I am debating using my Tory Burch Robinson saffiano bag, but it's orange and might be a little too cute to use just for work. Anyone have the above-mentioned Gucci or Alexander McQueen and can give feedback? What tote do you use and why? Pics are always welcome ☺
Received my package today! Bought the Alexander McQueen at a HUGE discount, but it shows in the state of quality I received it (wrinkled, crumpled leather; bent handles; oxidized metal accents). I'm thinking it's due to the lack of care in packaging. Not sure if I should keep it or not (I started another thread to delve into this deeper). The Gucci on the other hand, was in perfect condition and actually much more attractive in person than I expected. It came with an authenticity card; the Alexander McQueen, however, did not. Here are the pics:
Sorry to hear about the Mcqueen; what a disappointment! I bought a pebbled colorblock one at over 60% off, so hoping it won't arrive a total mess. Looking forward to receiving the package! Glad the Gucci arrived safe and sound.
Thanks @lovingmybags. I really did have higher hopes for it, and now debating whether to return it and buy a classic LV Eva, or hold onto it for the steal I got. Hope yours will be in better shape! Please post pics when you receive it!
How much did you get yours for, if you don't mind my asking? It's important to decide if that's still a good chunk of money towards the next bag...I can't wait to receive the Legend, so I can check the condition from top to bottom! Hoping it'll be a good one. Will definitely post pics when I get it!
