I have the VCA Vintage Alhambra and am thinking of lengthening it and getting the mini frivole to wear above it. Question. Can you sleep in the frivole?.I'm afraid the petals might bend. I take the Alhambra off every night and would like one necklace I can wear all the time.
Hi - I wouldn’t worry about that. I’ve been wearing a mini frivole necklace (pave) almost 24/7 for over a year now (lazy) and no issues. Its very sturdy and I can’t imagine it bending.
Is this the standard length? 16 inches?Also just want to add for the benefit of anyone else thinking about this in the future... it’s definitely smaller than the vintage Alhambra and has less immediate visual impact but if you’re into the Mejuri-Catbird-Missoma look with a bunch of super dainty layered necklaces it works well for that purpose. I did try on vintage Alhambra but it made my layering necklaces look like a distracting side dish... it would look good with other VCA pieces or even anything else with equal presence but if you layer with more minimalist jewelry it will outshine that jewelry. Just something to keep in mind.

What I'm wearing is the lengthened version, 18 inches.Thanks so much for your reply. I assume you have rings at 16 and 18. Do you find the extra chain annoying when wearing at 16? Trying to decide whether to do permanent extension or get a removable one...Edit: sorry, I misunderstood your question.
Hi, no the Alhambra pendant is not lengthened - just worn on the longer of the two jump rings. The frivole is worn on the shorter of the two jump rings (and was not shortened beyond that).
Hiii! May I know the length of your DBTY?This is not in the choices you've listed above (but maybe it might help?) but I also wear a Tiffany DBTY necklace daily and I recently added a sweet alhambra rose gold necklace (got the chain extended to 18 inches)
