Hi everyone! I’m treating myself to a new grad school bag to carry a small laptop, planner, small folder and was eyeing the Neverfull in leather. I love empreinte leather but the new epi rerelease caught my eye. Does anyone have these handbags and which would you recommend in terms of wear, weight (I don’t plan to carry much beyond the above)? I do love the structured quality of the epi, but the empreinte is so beautiful to touch and I would use a bag organizer to keep the structure. All opinions appreciated! Thank you!

EPI is very tough but I prefer the look of the empriente. The black in empriente should be fine - not light enough to get colour transfer etc.

I have an Epi neverfull from the older collection. I believe it is identical aside from the lack of an interior pocket. I LOVE it and I especially love the discrete profile. It is my favorite bag.

Thank you! It is hard to forget how sumptuous the empreinte feels. I do love how classic it is. The Epi is beautiful too.. a lucky choice to have

Thank you! Indeed it is beautiful! I visited the store and actually the brown is very lovely and rich so I may be choosing that if I choose epi. I am tough on my bags…

I think.. the solution is to get both. I love how quiet it is too, but I do not love that the LV isn’t embossed on the bottom like the old models. I’m not that discrete! The structure is great.. thank you!

I use it daily, I throw my lunch in there, water bottle, whatever I need to carry that day. It’s held up great! It has a few marks from being used but it doesn’t bother me any. I’ve had it for about two years!

Epi Neverfull will wear much better than empreinte Neverfull, although coated canvas Neverfull ( Damien ebene/ monogram/azur) will wear the best especially they can be folded. That being said, I love my epi Neverfull equally to my coated canvas ones.
