Etoupe Birkin 25, epsom or togo ???

I was offered both Epsom sellier (Gris Meyer) and Togo Returne (Etain) for Birkin 25. And I must say the sellier looks A LOT better in real life than in a photo. I also owned a Birkin 25 returne in Togo, but the bag has become soft after a few years of use, which kind of bugged me cuz I'd like my purse to look new not old. So after all, its down to your personal preferences. It is also important to see the purse in person and perhaps even try it on to see if the style suits you.
For a first quota bag , how difficult is it to specifically from your SA for Birkin 25 , Etoupe or Etain in togo or clemence leather and gold hardware? Is it ok to turn down the first quota bag offer if it isnt in the specification you wanted in?
I really really love sellier B but Etoupe as a colour looks much better in togo IMO. It looks very brown in epsom and more neutral/grey tones in togo.
Lol i asked the the same thing… for me i think its not a good idea to turn down the first quota bag but be sure to indicate to your SA your actual wishlist so you dont get stuck with some random color and style not on your list i’ve heard some stores dont take it well if you turn down a quota bag
I was faced with a similar dilemma last year (K25 Etoupe in Togo Retourne vs Epsom Sellier)…I went with Etoupe in Togo because I feel Etoupe + contrast stitching makes for a great casual bag. If I were planning to dress it up, I would have opted for Epsom. No matter the different leathers, I still find Etoupe with contrast stitching to be casual.

Both are gorgeous options! I would 1000% go with the Sellier in Epsom. Originally, I thought you were talking about a Retourne in Epsom and wasn't too fond of that idea. Now knowing it's a Sellier, I would go with that over the Retourne. I love structured and boxy bags.
togo in bleu Celeste but what’s the plan for the bag? Are you looking for something bright? All year round? 32 is a large bag so quite a large pop of color. I would not choose epsom personally. The corners will ding and rub very quickly at that size. Vc is a limited range color. IMO Hard to match and can’t really be worn beyond spring and summer. Bleu Celeste might be easier to coordinate and can be worn year round.
