I was thinking of getting one but I am concern about the durability. anyone experiencing with chipping of loosing diamond. I am planning on wearing it everyday

They now make eternity rings with a bit of metal in the back. Can't tell if the fit is good. The back of the ring takes the most beating so this eliminates the problem.

First, I went with a halfeternity, but the band is continuously spinning and I often see the plain back only! So, mine should be eternity. Now I every day wear Tiffany celebration bands (full eternity). It seems very unlikely for the diamonds to chip off or come off of the bands. If by any chance a diamond is lost, it will be fixed for free, perhaps.;)

I've worn a full eternity for a few years now, every day and no chips or lost stones. I think the setting has a lot to do with it - if you have channel set rather than shared-setting for example you might be less likely to have problems.

I have a full eternity -chanel set-, that I wear a few weeks now, the gems are diamond, not glass, I'm pretty sure it is extremely difficult to destroy them.

Perhaps pave has more chances getting diamonds lost.

Half eternity is a good idea because you save a lot of money, and limit the chances of getting diamonds lost.

mine is a full eternity with shared prong setting and I have been wearing it everyday for the past few years. If you take it back to your jeweler to have it checked regularly, it should be okay.

i have 3 eternity bands (all different styles and designs) and have never had any problems with any of the stones falling out. *knock on wood*

i recently took them to my jeweler for a polish and thankfully he noticed one of the stones from one of my rings was a little loose, so i left it with him to tighten. so if anything, be sure to bring it to your jeweler on a regular basis to check the stones.

otherwise, i love them but be sure the size is perfect because i believe they're impossible to size without it affecting the overall design and stones.

I have one eternity band that my mother gave me. It has about 2 carats worth of princess cut diamonds set in platinum. My mother gave it to me because, it no longer fit her. I wear it on my middle finger on my right hand sometimes. It has no chips or scratches.
