You can wonderful espadrilles made in France and Spain without luxury prices. I have pairs from 1789 Cala and Art of Soule that couldn't have been more than $40 (bought both in France and were made there).

For those who’ve worn Castañer’s how do they run true to size? How is the width I have wide feet should I try them? They have a glitter pair that looks cute but I can’t try them on and hate the idea of buying and returning them internationally.

I have the Gucci gg bee espadrilles and I LOVE them! Have worn them a lot and they're holding up very well, super comfortable, plus the neutral colors and style work well in my casual wardrobe. I also live in a warmer climate so can wear them at least 9 months of the year. I guess that's how I justified the cost. I just love espadrilles.... they're timeless.

I have a narrow foot, and they run larger for me. I'm usually a 35.5, but in Castañer 35 fits me best. I'd say go with your true size if you have wide feet.

They run small. I am normally a 7.5 in flats but I wear their 38s. I think they only come in full sizes but I could be wrong.

Not sure where you are based - I live in London and quite like espadrilles. I wear mine quite a bit (of course it’s different year on year but in general we do have enough dry days). Definitely avoid getting your shoes wet or it will ruin the soles. I don’t have any designer cotton/ canvas ones, I think those are too expensive. However, I do have Chanel (leather -and tweed) and Hermes (suede) ones and also Tod’s and Prada leather sandals with espadrille soles and haven’t had any issues. All are super comfortable, I think due to the thicker soles

Anyone know where I can find a pair of the Ferragamo espadrilles in the attached picture. I’ve only seen them on Netaporter and they’re all sold out. I’ve checked the brand’s site and a bunch of others with no luck. Thanks!
