Generally from looking at my mom's LV bags (not alma bb, but are about 30 years old now), the epi ones look a lot newer while the canvas ones, while still in very good condition, definitely look more used. Canvas is thinner, leading to it stretching and loosening. Epi is very hardy and durable, which makes it hard for it to lose its shape
