Hey guys, just a quick question.
Sorry if it causes confusion..
I have the LV speedy b 25 in epi leather and I've noticed that the inner lining is not flush against the leather but instead floats inside the bag. So it causes the top of the bag to cave in because the leather is not supported up by the canvas...
Is this normal?

Yes. It’s not meant to be structured. Épi is stiffer than other leathers, but it’s still supposed to be a “soft” bag.

Are you saying the lining is not attached to the leather? If that is true - that is the sign of a cheap bag
Not entirely an educated response there. Lv has sold defective bags to many people before.. it doesn't mean they're "cheap" when you've still paid full price for it.. it means there was an issue that needed rectifying.

I carry mine nearly every day and don’t quite understand what you are talking about. Mine doesn’t cave in but I use a bag organizer inside it. The shape looks great.

There was a thread about this awhile back when 2 new epi speedy bags were released, around Jan. 2017. I don’t remember exactly but they described exactly what you said. The lining floats in the bag and it can show dents over time. You can kind of see the dents here when I tried the bag on when it first came out. It’s not a defect, as the bag isn’t meant to be structured like the epi Alma, but it was bothersome enough for me to pass on it. A purse organizer may help

I just recently got into LV and was reading something about what makes a well-made bag and one of the "cheap" things was a floating lining - but maybe LV does it for a reason

Oh it looks so beautiful with your Hermes bracelet.. it is a stunning bag, the dents don't seem so obvious on yours.. I'll add a pic to clear up any confusion my OP may have caused. Xx
Thanks for showing a pic btw..this is the bag both stuffed and unstuffed.
I've always kept it stuffed, upright.. out of direct light.. all that required jazz. So I thought it was just my bag that had the issue.. IMG-20180928-WA0034.jpegIMG-20180928-WA0030.jpegIMG-20180928-WA0032.jpeg
