Ep Leather Seems so STIFF

I was wondering if the epi leather softens up with use? The last time I looked at it in the store it seemed hard and stiff!
I would love a epi speedy, but the canvas is much 'softer'.

My Epi Jasmin hasn't soften. Thats what I like about though.

Yeah i'm sure it doesn't soften. It's durable but doesn't feel very expensive to me. I'm not an epi fan.

I prefer the word "structured" as opposed to "stiff."

I have an epi bag and I like the way it holds its shape. So far I haven't noticed it "soften" over time and I've had it almost four years.

Yes, I guess it would be good if it holds it's shape and dosen't 'sag', as this bothers some speedy owners. PF members have said the zipper scratches their hand in the epi when they are getting in and out of their speedy, so see it as a not so good thing!

I have a red epi speedy and the leather has definitely softened after much use but then it still stands up on its own. It keeps its shape, which is what I love about it.

I love the structured look the epi provides. I have the speedy and soufflot and love them both!

Epi is inherently stiff. I in fact HATE the feel of it- it's one of the few LV lines I'd never buy (unless it were a mandarin cles or keepall).

i have a discontinued yellow epi petit noe and love it to bits!!

I heard once that if you got a guitar pick, you could strum a tune out on the Epi leather! No seriously, I don't have anything in Epi - I've been curious about it....I feel like you either love it or hate it. Is it really not soft at all? Darn - last time I was at the store, it was the farthest thing from my mind......

I absolutely LOVE the Epi line...it is stiff but so pretty!! I just got the Soufflot and I adore that bag!! I'm actually thinking of getting the Jasmin now.

All my epis are stiff except for my speedy. My speedy is soft like the monogram canvas!
