There's a pretty big price difference between the Louis Vuitton Neverfull and the Hermes Bolide (kind of like comparing apples to oranges in my opinion).
The Neverfull is mainly canvas with leather trim, roughly runs about $1300-1400 USD depending on the size you pick, PM, MM or GM. This is a great choice for an entry level quality everyday designer bag!
The Hermes Bolide is all leather and depending on the size, prices range from $6,300-8,200 USD depending on the types of leather used. Craftsmanship and quality is great with all the Hermes bags I've seen.

Prada - I think that they do have some nice reasonably priced nylon bags that are great for everyday causal use. Most nylon bags range from $500-1,000 USD. I've heard the overall quality of Prada leather has declined.
Chanel is a little bit overpriced in my opinion and a little too formal for most settings. These bags don't scream casual everyday leather bag to me. Most leather bags from Chanel roughly run upwards of $3,400-7,000 USD.
Overall, I still conclude that the Neverfull is a great choice for an everyday entry level bag. If you have the chance I highly recommend doing some research on the bags you like and maybe try some styles on in person. You get a better feel for the bags and find what works for you. Good luck and welcome to the addiction!
