I didn't lose it but wanted another box to have one monogrammed and keep one original
Oh, I see. I would monogram your box. It's so romantic. I got my ring before they gave out those new Tiffany boxes, so my original box is the old black version. When the new Tiffany blue boxes came out, my SA was kind enough to offer me one. He then asked me if I wanted it monogramed, but I felt there was no point as it was not my original box, as the "engagement moment" was over.

It seems like you just got your ring and are now recently engaged? If I may make that assumption...
If I were in your shoes, I would totally monogram my box! The moment is now, and it's so romantic. My husband is a die-hard romantic, and he would want to monogram the actual proposal date on the box as a well for a keepsake.

Assuming I did not step over my bounds to assume you are newly engaged... now for your wedding rings... you two can think of what you want inscribed on the inside of your wedding bands. So much fun and joy being engaged!

Congratulations to you!

That's so sweet of your SA!! Unfortunately, I don't really have an SA. And thank you for the congratulations! I am newly engaged and so excited to start this journey.. but waiting for my ring to come back has been making me sad. I was excited to be able to bring my ring in to any Tiffany store and have it cleaned, but because of covid, they no longer offer that service, which is a big bummer. Hopefully wedding ring shopping will be a funner experience. My experience so far with Tiffany hasn't been the greatest.

They won't give you another box, but when you buy your wedding bands they have a special box that fits both rings in it that you can request! I know they run out a lot, but if they have one it's gorgeous! I know that how long it takes also depends on how many rings they have in to size at a time, I would give your store a call and ask for another status update and request that they rush it if it's not ready. And I second building a relationship with an SA, they'll make the magic happen!
