Congratulations! It’s a lovely ring and it looks great on your finger! Agree with everyone, all 3 rings will look similar, so go with option 1. I think you should talk with a manager re: the inspection fee..how absurd! (If they had to inspect, it certainly shouldn’t be $200) And why is there no inspection fee if you bought the more expensive ring? This is poor custoner service. This is Cartier?
Hi Essiedub, there will be an inspection fee regardless of which ring i chose. Apologies for the miscommunication! By the way, the good news is they actually waived the charges voluntarily! The inspection is completed and i am awaiting the arrival of my option 1! :))

I'm with essiedub. $200 seems chintzy. I just looked on the Cartier website and looks like the band can easily be resized.

Why not keep the original ring if you are happy with the stats and pay another reputable jewelry to resize the ring? It might not even cost $200...
Hi Lulu, turns out i wouldn't have to pay at all. Thank you for your suggestions! so far so good.

No I don’t! We just got our house and will be getting the keys in July, so have been very busy with both work and thinking about the house renovations.

We are thinking to do something more unconventional towards the beginning of next year :)

There’s so much to do! :)

First I'm a bit late to this post.... but congratulations on your engagement! It's a beautiful ring and I adore it. Just curious how did it all turn out in the end? Did you choose #1 or stick to the original proposal ring?
