Yes, it was. Richard Burton also gave her an absolutely stunning emerald collection.

This book is a must! I have it and adore it.Beautiful pictures and the things she says about each piece is charming.I read it front to back as soon as I got it home. I love it.I personally liked the collection of charm bracelets. (I happen to collect gold charms and bracelets):It would make a lovely gift for anyone who loves jewelry.

Cant wait to get this! I just ordered it from B&N. I looked everywhere in the city for it but since its been out of print for so long, no one had it.

Ascella, Richard Burton had EXCEPTIONAL taste in jewelry based on the pieces he gave Elizabeth.......I will have to "accidently" make sure that I'm sitting beside DH when I'm reading this book and throw out small "hints."

LOVE this book! I got it when I was about 15 when it was on clearance at borders. Whenever I am feeling sad and down I pull it out and just dream that maybe one day my life will be filled with such fabulous jewels and love.

Hello all. I dreamed to read this book. Elizabeth Taylor is my idol but i doesn't have an opportunity to purchase it because I live at remote place village in Russia ((( and even with the autograph. I dare not even dream about it ...if someone has the ability to scan or photograph from a book to read and send me I'll be very grateful.

Be glad you guys got that book on the bargain section because it's easily over $100 now to get a copy.
