That's a great idea for a test run. My friend purchased a CZ tennis bracelet to see if she should invest in the real thing. She said it truly helped in the decision making process.

They can sell for a lot of money, I've seen some sell for £700+ (a bit extortionate considering the material but I get why). I don't think it looks much like the more recent (1990s+) love bracelets, the design symbol looks bigger but maybe the 70s bracelets looked like this?

Wow, £700 is crazy! I agree, it doesn't look like the more recent bracelets.

Yes they were the same from what i read.

They were only made once, i think the year was 1970. I think it was the same year the Cartier version was introduced. I could be wrong but i think that's what i read. I am sure Cartier quickly realized they had something special and made sure these weren't mass produced.

Interesting! This brings me to think it'd be interesting to see an original 1970s Love bracelet and how it looks after 40 years. I wonder if we have any members with the original Love bracelet. And how different is it from the more current ones...

It looks great. I have some collection like this. It is much more cheaper than others. I also think that it looks like cartier bracelet. And I don’t feel so bad about it like you. Thanks for sharing this.
