Thanks, I was so excited for it but might get the regular 31 edie with silver. I had the regular violet with gold for a few days but returned it because I really prefer sliver or gunmetal hardware :(

I get it. There are some things that I feel strongly about design-wise as well. That really is a shame they won't be making it.

It's a long shot, but you might ask what they're doing with it. If they haven't gifted it to someone it may be lurking somewhere at Coach. If you make an impassioned pitch for it, maybe they'll sell it to you. I had that happen with a sweater once (not Coach). I wanted to order from a sample and was told they decided not to manufacture that design - but they let me buy the sample. I still have it. :smile1:

I think I will send them an email. It's a long shot but no harm in asking! !

Soooo excited! :happydance: I just ordered my first Edie from Macys.com. They added new Coach styles to the handbag sale, and I used the code WORKIT to get an additional 25% off. Can't wait for her to arrive.

I can finally join the club! :D My new Edie Colorblock from Macy's arrived today all nicely packed. I saw some Edie Colorblock bags in stores yesterday and got a little concerned I might not like the bag, but I love it! I wanted this or the Circle Hobo in Parchment. I decided to go with this (for now :graucho:) because the pebbled leather looked like it would be more durable and not show dirt as easily...especially with having two young kids. The 3 separate compartments and light colored interior are awesome. So easy to organize and find things. I like the grey birch color as an alternative to parchment as a light colored bag, even though I prefer the parchment color. Also, I originally thought the regular sized Edie would be a little too big for me being 5'3", but it's not. Of course, I am still lusting after the Edie 31. It is so cute and the colors are really nice.

As a side note, I found it interesting that my bag was made in the Philippines and not China. I didn't know Coach bags were made in other countries besides China now.

Will post pics later.
