A lot of the teens were wearing them on tik tok and Insta and then BTS (I think) had them and they really went wild. I remember when Westwood necklaces were all the rage first couple of times around (alas sweet enamel skull pendant lost) and at least one design seems to become very popular every couple of years. It’s just costume but hey, it is memorable.
