Scary that it's now up to $10,600 -- I think hard about bidding on stuff that know about, much less *guess* what's in the box. In the feedback section, the seller has recently purchased a $4000 Tiffany sterling silver set... Interesting.....

In Japan, during the New Year's sale, it's pretty common for the stores to have a "surprise" bag where a bunch of pretty nice items are included (as a way for store to move old inventory, probably). People wait before the stores open for some of the bags -- OF COURSE this is very different from this auction.

If you note closely, the seller only says you will get the "Bag and Boxes" Technically, they could get away with making all this money off of empty boxes and a bag.

I was just going to say that. she does reieterate your bidding on the boxes and bags.. how bizzare ppl would actually do that. i would love to know the actual outcome of this

Mystery auctions? Uhhhhhh, no. I would send the seller a "mystery check" and tell her to just imagine my signature on it cuz I'm not paying for that crap!!!!!

That's a good point!! I personally wouldn't bid on mystery auction, so I find it really amusing that there are actually people bidding on this :blink:

He/she even talks about what he would give you if you bid over 1Mil!

IS he/she serious?! WOW! I wonder what they will really get?

I like the part about 400 US BILLS.... Maybe they are all $2 bills?
