I swear you can’t tell the difference between E and G unless you put them side by side and unmounted. When the G diamond is set in white gold or platinum, it picks up some of the white tint from the setting which makes it appear even whiter. Between a bigger carat (which is noticeable) and a better color (which is not noticeable), I would choose the bigger carat.
