My first experience with premier tax free took 3 months. I actually get the money in the counter in the city centre before I stamp in the airport. Once I got it stamped I mailed to them. My mail came late, more than 3 months so they charged me back to my CC (passed the time frame for refund scheme). I had to email them and gave a pictures of the stamped receipt and a photo of me put the letter into the mailbox, lol. They said they would wait a bit longer and said it often happened that the mail took so long (it was in 2012). Few days later they came back to me said my mail finally arrived and they refund me back. What a hassle. Since then I always opt for cash in their kiosk/locket AFTER I got the custom stamp. A bit lost like $5 per invoice but it’s much better option. They took the form (no mailing needed) and handed me the money. It’s done!

With global blue, it’s usually 5-6 weeks. 2 days from scandinavian countries since they act as custom themselves in the airport! Direct to my CC.

If you handed the form to the lady in the premier tax free, I guess it should be okay. You’re mail is in ‘the company’ already. Otherwise you can try to email them. They are pretty helpful. But next time, always always always took a copy or picture of the stamped form. I wish you the best of luck!

I used the Pablo system in France for the first time last month. I thought the timeframe for refunds was 10 business days, but all my transactions still show up as PENDING on the status tracker.

How long do Pablo refunds typically take?

I have not received my refund. However, I got an email from Galeries Lafayette that they already accepted the softcopy and that they have processed my refund. But until now, still no refund in my credit card.

I'll keep you updated.

I think you should be ok. I mailed my return without the postage from a different country as well. Just got my refund today. Good luck to you!

6 weeks today and I still haven’t received my cc refund from Premier. The website says it’s ‘being processed’. It’s a small refund so I chose to put it on my credit card as a test (vs. my other refund, in cash, which was instant). Next time I won’t bother and will just pay extra to receive the refund in cash. For me it’s worth the extra $$ to ensure you get the refund on the spot. From my experience Premier takes longer than other companies to process credit card refunds.

Anyone bought chanel bags in EU and know what the % is on duty to declare upon return into the United States?

I got lucky last time and though I declared and filled out the form, the guy just waved us through without processing the fee saying “have a nice weekend ladies!”

So I am still curious how much the current duty % is for future reference if anyone knows. TIA!

Does anyone know how long it take to get Hermes refund on Credit Card? I wanted to get cash back, but Hermes said I can only get refund on my Credit Card, I don"t understand why, when all other shops give you the options of cash or credit. I mailed about 3 weeks ago.TIA

Calculation: (Price -800 -1000)* 4.5% + (1% of 1000)

I was told the 4.5% could have been 9%.
