I have to say, I like the proper dustbag to go with the proper purse, too. Even if it's not the EXACT bag it came in, I Like the coach in coach and the gucci in gucci and the KS in KS... you get the point. :)

I'd prefer them to be in a light color to prevent any possibility of color transfer. So that patterned one on ebay isn't one I'd buy. It's cute though.

As far as the ones with the little window, you can get the plastic part at a craft store and just sew it on the side of a dust bag you'd make. It'd be time consuming to cut the pieces and the trim (and have to find the right thread and needle to go through it), but it's possible. I kinda want to make them, you can coordinate the trim to the bag you're storing inside as well.

Luckily for me, my bags have a dust bag or are in use. So it's a project I can hold off on.

I like matching dustbags to handbags, too (ie. brands) but Nordstrom and the like usually have drawer-fulls. When I needed one for a bag that I had bought on sale, they offered it up at no cost. I would also assume thst the manufacturer would supply replacements for a nominal price, if not for free.

Yes I use my old white pillowcase as well :)

In case you cannot find a pillowcase big enough, you may want to consider buying the dust cover bag by CloverSac.com , it is made of 100% cotton with 300 thread counts which is like a large pillowcase. Fabric is white, smooth and breathable which prevent the growth of moulds and color transfer.

I used it to store my Speedy 35 that I bought from ebay that doesn't come with a dust cover bag.

** sneaking through this thread **. Unless it's suede I never keep a bag in a dust cover. I like seeing the array of pretty colors and I've never had even a tiny issue in keeping my bags pristine (and I'm very picky about how my bags look.
