Durability of Mini Loop Intrecciato Bag?

I really do love the BV intrecciato kind of quiet luxury style, and I am really looking forward to add a BV bag to my collection. I've been going back and forth about it mainly due to the wear and tear that I've seen on this forum. Today I walked past a lady on the street who was carrying a Loop bag and the leather trims were visibly curled especially around the center of the bag, and it has also become slouchy so it has lost its boxy shape. Does it happen only to the loop bags in absence of an interior lining, or does it happen across all intrecciato bags?

I bought this bag in Osaka but by the time I found the strap issue, I was in Tokyo getting ready to head back to the states. I went to t Ginza location the day before my flight and they gave me a brand new bag!
