Durability and aging of Azur neverfull

Congrats! The Neverfull MM in Azur was my first LV a few years ago. Such a great bag. Regarding Azur's durability: watch the denim "rub". As careful as I was with this bag, it did pick up some denim transfer at one point. I was able to remove most of it, and you can't see it now. I have had a recent run of seeing a number of Azur bags that have not been treated well: literally grey in color on the body of the bag, straps looking terrible. I think you have to really neglect the bag to get it to that point. Not sure why some people choose not to replace the straps, though. Even on Mono NF's, I have seen some terrible straps. :yucky: Anyway, I think if you keep an eye on the denim, your bag will be fine. I went on to buy the Artsy in Azur and have had no issues!

Thankyou for your input :) I rarely wear denim but I'll keep that in mind. I was always terrified of getting the azur because I've seen some pretty terrible ones but now that I own one, it's a very durable bag and doesn't get that dirty easily. I can't wait to get my hands on artsy next:love:

My Speedy B in DA is two years old and it doesn`t have any colour transfer. I mostly carried it on the shoulder or crossbody so it would rub on my jeans. But I never wore it with brand new jeans so this might have something to do with it still looking perfect.

Hello. I was one of those that their jeans rubbed on my vag. I wasn't wearing new jeans. They were old. This happen Dee to be after 2 days of having the bag. But my bag it's 10 years old now and I still get lots of compliments on it. The mark is on the back so I can hide it. If you want DA get it, it's beautiful.

i was terrified of azur too b/c of color transfer, but it's my favorite LV print and i just had to have it. there are so many talented artists out there that will paint onto LV bags, so i decided if any color transfer did happen i'd just have the bag painted with a beautiful image to cover it.

I have the Speedy in DA (I got it at the Paris LV flagship store). It is 6 years old and still looks very good. No denim transfer either, and I am in jeans frequently. However, I am very cautious and like to wash new jeans in warm water by themselves to try to get the initial dye "out" and less likely to transfer.

Oddly enough, I wore a red zipper hoody from the Northface recently and that color transferred onto a white Michael Kors bag. Glad I wasn't using my LV or white Balenciaga that day, and MK actually let me exchange it because the bag was only a week old.

I would be careful with jeans and leather clothing with strong colors. Otherwise azur is very durable and carefree. I've had my azur neverfull gm for more than six years and used it a lot as a gym bag and what not. It is still in good shape without any color transfer.
