My best friend bought a vintage Kelly in Paris in September and took it to her local store to inquire about repair services. She met a lovely SA and immediately developed a terrific rapport. She decided to wait until my visit before sending the bag off as they quoted her a 6-8 month wait time for the repair.

BFF and I visited the boutique yesterday to sign the paperwork to send her bag off for repairs and while there, her SA and I immediately hit it off and had lots of fun chatting. She asked if I owned any H Bags and I said no but my dream is to one day own a B bag. She asked what my dream was in terms of size, color, and hardware and I told her a shade of orange in a size 30 with gold hardware. She asked if I was serious about buying the bag if the opportunity ever arose. I told her 100% yes. She excused herself to speak to her manager. When she came back, she said the stars were in alignment because she had the exact bag I described in the store! A quick call to DH and the bag was mine (after two hours of champagne, Twilly selections, mailing my box home, and paperwork!) chatting)

I still cannot believe my tremendous luck!
