I got this one... not sure if it's the original. =/

I use the sensitive skin bar, and I recently stopped using the clarisonic and just the soap with my hands or a washcloth...my face is back to normal. That clarisonic was a total fail for me. But the dove always works. I have tried other things with not so great results.

I only use the "original" when travelling because it's easier to go to the drugstore wherever I end up and buy a travel size one.

I'm a dove lover too, got away with not moisturizing my skin for many years and people stiill ask me what i use and say my skins baby soft. I love just the plain ol white bar soap.

I liked the Pro-Age line too. They had a real nice line of moisterizers. Then they reformulated everything and then they got rid of the line. Truly annoyed. But I do like Dove soap. Used Ivory most of my life, but the soap was reformulated some years ago and as someone said it now badly dries out your skin and leaves a dusty film. Might as well use Castille soap.
Pro-Age is available in Canada. I just bought 2 bars this afternoon.

Ok, So I have been using DermaDoctor on my face, and I can say I had a very positive experience. I just ran out, but I think I might try the dove out first tomorrow. ( its way better than spending 25) I will let you ladies know how it goes.

You are not alone on the clarisonic thing. I bought one four years ago and it made my skin just awful- irritated, and created this almost cystic-like acne. I told my esthetician and she cringed and said to get rid of it and never use it again. I bought mine directly from the manufacturer and had a very hard time getting my money back even though they claimed to have a money back guarantee.

Anyway- I am a fan also of Dove sensitive skin formula, we use that as our bath soap and I use either Posay or Shiseido face wash.

I can usually use other things on my body, I usually use some Lavender Johnson and Johnson stuff, or Philosophy 3 in 1 Cinnamon Buns. But on my face I have learned to not mess with the Dove.

I got my Clarisonic through QVC, and it's too late to return it anyway. I wondered if I needed a new brush or something but it didn't matter about which brush or how new it was. It just didn't work well for me. My dermatologist appt last week had a discussion about this and the doctor said she sees a good 50-50 split of good and bad with that.
