Donatella Versace, one of the co-hosts of the 2018 Met Gala, has arrived for the big night.
The 63-year-old fashion mogul posed for photos on the star-studded red carpet at the annual event, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 7) in New York City.
This year’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit celebrates the opening of the Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination exhibition and is hosted by Donatella, Rihanna, Amal Clooney, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

Saw this too. I am a Versace nut, and watched the Feb 28 show live as it streamed. Cillian Murphy next to Wintour was a moment.
I thought I would be more upset by this, but I'm ok.
She's staying as chief "ambassador," and honestly, I suspect her hands will remain in Versace for quite some time yet.
And personally I liked quite a few things from the upcoming collection. Already went over them with my client advisor, I'm that excited. Even hubby found a tie he's anxious for. Lol
(Sidenote from my life... when my former undergrad physics advisor was retiring as a physics professor, my then fiance now husband was actually coming IN as a physics professor in that exact same department. My former advisor stayed on for a few years yet, and sort of tutored my now hubby as he learned professorship. A guide who genuinely cared. Heck, a couple years later he walked me down the aisle at our wedding. Lol. I told hubby this morning that I suspect Donatella will be similar. I know Vitale is already a professional, but still... Donatella "is" Versace. She's not disappearing to anywhere. Hope that made sense. Sorry for any typos, typing on phone.)
