Hi all, recently I just purchased an Alma BB epi leather in black in-store, and after I got home to do a complete inspection of the bag, I didn't see a care booklet coming with it. Does that mean I got a 'returned' bag? I've checked multiple unboxing videos of this bag and looks like everyone has a booklet in either their box or bag.:sad::sad:

Also, just for future reference, does anyone know if it's higher chances to get a 'returned' bag online or in-store?

Thanks!!

bags do not come with booklets

Actually, it depends on the bag. I have received booklets that came with some limited edition bags and also monogram canvas bags. However, sometimes the booklets are misplaced when many people are handling / inspecting items in the stores. The same can be said if ordered directly from LV....it's hit or miss. I have tons of these little booklets and not getting another is fine with me . Not having one doesn't decrease the resale value of the bag in any way.

I don't think you should be worried. You can imagine someone is stuffing booklets into bags in the back room somewhere and sometimes they might forget one or a customer is looking at it, takes it out, and forgets to put it in before she gives it back to the SA. Not a big deal. :)

Everything I've ever bought from LV has come with a booklet (a care guide), usually describing the materials (like an Escale care guide). Recently, I've stopped getting care booklets and textile tags. It took some back and forth and some research, but they have a shortage of the goodies that come with everything. So it's hit or miss if you can get one. The stores are super low or out of a lot of things too.
