Words to shop by. I was just reminding myself for the upcoming sale season that spending money on bags I want solely to add to the collection rather than wear, love, and cherish, is not a good deal, regardless of the discount.

If you can find good quality in all of these features, then its cost will reflect it.


I agree that good quality will always cost more. How much of that increase depends greatly on the popularity of the brand or the exclusivity of the product. We often hear of how certain labels are annually increasing their prices yet workmanship is decreasing but sales will not suffer because there will always customers who want to be a part of "The Club". Companies know this so they put a lot of money into marketing and publicity encourage this.

Papertiger is right. Buy what what you can afford then it doesn't matter how much you spend.
