Oh yes... my long long strand of pink/purple/grey pearls that I can triple around my neck or wear as a lariat knotted or doubled in different lengths... they spice up any outfit!

When I was younger...sexier. Older...more powerful.
Of course the jewelry has changed dramatically throughout the years! LOL!

I am 29 years old, but I too noticed that my jewelry has changed dramatically throughout the years. When I was in my teens and early 20s, I would buy a lot of small antique pieces or popular Tiffany pieces (e.g. heart tag bracelet, return to tiffany oval necklace, heart tag necklace, etc). As the years progressed (I make it sound like a 30 year period- lol) I started to pick flashier designs (e.g. purple sapphire necklace, antique pieces that were bolder in nature, etc). This thread started because I purchased a few pieces that when I put them on, I felt sexy. I do not know if it is a coming of age idea or if it is just that the styles I am picking are more dramatic. I just know how I feel when I put these items on.

By the way, I added to my sexy collection- Frank Gehry Orchid Earrings- Size Large-

Hi Antique shopper. For me it used to be a tiny little gold cross on a 16 inch chain. I wore it constantly for about a year or so. It was soo mini and cute and it looked great with other long necklaces etc. I went in the sea one day and got knocked over by a huge wave (i forgot to take it off). I was sooooo upset; it only cost me about 30 dollars but i loved it. Now i tend to buy better stuff (necklaces are all now Tiffany), and i never wear them to the beach. I still on the hunt for a teeny tiny gold cross.....any ideas?
