Does Anyone Own Polarized Sunglasses?

Polarized is awesome! I do have to say that if you need prescription they must use better lenses, my prescription Pradas are awesome!

If you want good polarized lens , invest with Maui Jim - they have the best polarized lenses / optics on the planet regardless of lens material glass or polycarbonate lens .
Other brands that makes amazing polarized Lens are follows :
1) Rayban (Glass lenses / Rayban Tech Collection)
2) Persol
3) Oakley
4)Revo
5) Costa Delmar
6)Serengeti
All Designer brands Like Chanel , Prada,LV,Dior,YSL, Bottega ,Prada,Versace,Dolce&Gab,Coach,Tory ,Ralph Lauren & all their lenses are polycarbonate lens , just OK sunglasses - but clarity not that great compare to the other brands i mentioned above .
It is nice to own high fashion brand for like a dress to impressed type , but if you are looking for great quality of lens , then I will vote for Maui Jim & Rayban glass lenses . Hope this helps .

Co sign on Ray Bans, I've had many pairs over the years and they never disappoint. Maui Jim's are lovely, but pricey. You can usually find Ray Bans on sale somewhere.

thank you so much for this info..i was searching for sunglasses and came upon ur post it was very helpful as it narrowed down my choices and saved my wallet too from the expensive premier designer sunglasses when just a pair of MJ or Rayban will do..thanks again for ur post

Buy a pair of Maui Jim or Rayban (Specially Wayfarer / Aviator they are the classics and will never go out of style)Good luck

I own polarized sunglasses (not coach) but they are definitely the option to choose when it is available. It mostly helps with glare, colors and clarity.
One thing to note, is that you will see weird rainbows or shapes/colors on some car windows or other surfaces. It's strange at first but I got used to it really quickly.

Edit: but sometimes it can interfere with the ability to see phone screens- possibly an ipad too (although I have never tried it). My boyfriends phone is really difficult to see when the glasses are on, but my phone (iphone), I don't really have a problem with.

Yes , if you have UV protection in your car windows or if you have tinted windows it does affect the color like rainbows .

Phone : if you also have non glare protection cover in your phone or if your phone case is like a rubber it is also difficult to see .
GPS - hard to see as well , because most of them were made of plastic covers and colored LCD.

Maui Jim's are the best polarized lens I have ever used. The clarity is exceptional. Ray Ban's are excellent as well. I have problems reading a phone screen as mentioned. Well worth the price.

Maui Jim's optics are amazing! And they have great customer service to boot. I believe they have a lifetime warranty on them. I have some raybans and they wanted to charge me to repair them. Getting polarized lenses help reduce glare and especially if you are out on the water. Hth

I love Serengeti definitely the best also have a pair of Maui Jim's that r also good but the glasses are plastic. I broke my nose piece they did repair but charged me 40-50 dollars
