Does anyone NOT like the Mini Pochette?

I actually laughed when I saw the new price for the mini pochette. Price increases are inevitable, but this is verging on insane. I had thought about doing a mon monogram MP but never got around to it. Now at £645, I’ll just enjoy the couple of mon mono pieces I already have. Another thing to tickle me further is that if you weren’t aware it had recently massively increased in price, the UK LV site still shows the price as £505 until you click into the item description and are faced with the £645 price tag. I’m sure this was under £400 when I looked at it about 18 months ago.

Missed out on buying it years ago. Last year I balked at the price and I bought a Celine monogram triomphe cosmetic pouch instead. I revisited it again because the Celine pouch was too big for my medium bags because of the wider base and it didn’t have the chain with the clasp—- the slightly bigger Celine option with the fixed chain strap was double the price and I didn’t go for that. The mPA just functions better for my needs. I still like the Celine pouch though and I think the canvas is better. I have the Celine monogram triomphe Boston bag too, which I chose over the Speedy 30B. I stumbled upon the mPA available online early this month so I finally bought it. It serves me well so far. Now, even if it is more expensive, I will get better use out of it versus the Celine pouch to house my everyday essentials. I don’t really carry mini/micro/nano bags but this just allows easier bag switching and the clasp can hook on the inner D rings of totes that I use.

However— I would not buy it at the increased price. The $540 I paid for it was already too much. At least, if I decide to sell I might just recover close to what I paid for. Crazy LV fever... Maybe I won’t get as lucky with the Celine pouch. .

Not sure if I already posted here, but I bought a mini pochette while traveling in London 2019. I sold it pretty immediately when I got back to the states. It was significantly cheaper at that time. I found it useless for my smaller bags as it took up too much space. I didn’t see the point in taking stuff out of it to transfer to a smaller bag. I know some people use it to run quick errands but I prefer using a Chanel WOC for errands...the woc fits my phone, keys and a card holder for errands.

I actually use a small longchamp Pouch as a catch all for small things like hair ties,Bobby pins, bandaids, etc. It‘s also lighter in weight than a mini pochette because it doesn’t have a chain attached.
