Does anyone know why some BBags come with metal tags and some with leather tags?

I think right now the only bags that have metal tag are RH City, RH First, RH Work.

The RH weekender also has a metal tag, certainly my two from 05 have metal tags.

most RH bags have metal tags, but DAY and the new style has leather tag (velo, town, midday)

my ggh pt has a leather tag. the rh has metal tags. i really like the shiny metal tags for balenciaga versus the leather ones. they just look better imo ^^''

I just bough a Coquelicot RH city from a buyer, and just discovered that the tag on the back which shows" made in italy" is all written in capitals which is different from the black RH city I bought in 2010. Does anyone has a Coquelicot has the "MADE IN ITALY" all in capitals? this worries me had i bought myself a fake....

I'm pretty sure that they changed the lettering even dating back to the 2011 S/S collection. My Ardoise and other 2011 bags have the capital letters.

I think they used to use metal tags for the RH bags and leather for the GH bags. However I think after the 09 F/W season they started using leather tags in all of their bags. My 09 porpure RH city has the metal tag and my 10 anthra RH velo has a leather tag.

I believe this is completely right! This is what I have been told too!
