Do you wear your jewelry all the time?

Really an interesting thread:smile: Usually I don't wear any jewelry while I'm home as it causes skin irritations for me. When I'm moving out all that I wear is a single small gold stud and a chain with a pendant.

i wear my David Yurman rings and bracelet every day and only take it off to shower. I used to wear those in shower too but decided that its not good for those so i don't anymore. I had those items for almost 5 years and those still look as good as new. If you wear gold or silver thats not smooth and polished design, its not going to scratch as much and you can get away with wearing it more

I wear my fave ring (Gucci Icon) and bracelet (Cartier Love) all the time even in bed. However, I take them off when I’m in shower, cleaning, cooking.
I also wear them both and my watch to work.
I use Hagerty or Town Talk polishing cloth to get rid of minor scratches - monthly.
I agree, life’s too short not to wear and enjoy my goodies.
This is my POV - love hearing others thoughts!

I enjoy wearing pieces 24/7 so they must be comfortable and not snag on anything.

My earrings are all from body jewelry makes, mini hoops and flatback labrets so I can sleep/shower/etc in them. For a while I had Tiffany silver pieces - the interlocking circles necklace and bead bracelet- but the necklace kept tarnishing. So then I started collecting gold pieces from Jewlr. I love my name necklace but it can snag on sweaters, and got dainty stacker rings. And my wedding set.

Recently I got a nice watch and a bold silver ring, and this is the first time in years I’ve actually had something to take off/put on each day!

I wear an Indian 22k gold wedlock chain (mangal sutra) around my neck and 22k gold screwed on studs in my ears 24/7. I mostly keep the earrings on because otherwise my holes close up pretty quickly.

Otherwise, I don't wear any of my other jewelry that long.

For example, I don't wear my engagement ring or wedding band when I'm showering, sleeping, doing chores, eating at home, etc., because it's 18k gold, which is pretty soft, and I don't want to put unnecessary scratches on it.

I have a Fitbit that I also wear 24/7, so I never wear a watch.

I take everything off before going to bed yurman bracelets, rings, earrings, necklaces I put everything in a jewelry tray including my watch. I put my jewelry on after shower in the morning and I regularly switch out to different pieces. I used to wear my engagement ring to bed years ago but DH ended up with a scratch from the ring. I clean my jewelry at least once a wear especially with Covid and all the hand sanitizer and soap.

I wear my 1 carat solitaire necklace/ love/JUC/ Tiffany bangle / Cartier 0.04 diamond bracelet/ love ring / half eternity band 24/7 when I sleep and shower. I only take my E ring and wedding band off cause the e ring gets caught in my hair when I try to tie it up or wash it. I don’t cook or do chores so maybe that makes a difference. My job is not hands on either. My jewelry that I wear 24/7 still looks brand new well except the love lol has scratches from stacking.
