Do you wear you're jewelry all the time? Even if you going to sleep, wash you're hands or in the shower?

Is it bad for the jewelry? So the jewelry dosen't look good or become scratches?

I personally don't wear my rings or bracelets (except for Cartier Love) when I sleep, cook or take a shower
My watch , rings & bracelets all come off
While I see many cook with their "rings" on, that doesn't appeal to me

I wear my thumb ring (plain gold band) and my eden bracelet 24/7. They are no worse off but they don’t have any sort of gems. I take my ering off for dishes, showering, cooking, heavy cleaning, etc. If I’m wearing any rings besides my ering they come off when I get home. Everything else comes off at various times before bed.

I tend to leave things on for months. I have multiple ear piercings with labret backs (threadless) that are very comfortable. I have a Tiffany DBTY pendant that is permanently on. I add layers here and there, all delicate pieces. I usually wear at least one ring on my right hand, sometimes more. I love rings the best of all jewelry, mostly because I can enjoy looking at them, unlike earrings or necklaces. I wear my wedding band all the time, but not my engagement ring. It's not as comfortable to have that on all the time.

I take all rings off when cooking or cleaning, but leave them on the rest of the time. Bracelets are usually only worn for going out. Not even sure why but leaving them on all the time bugs me. I used to wear an anklet 24/7 but have found it's uncomfortable if I'm in socks and booties which is my go to footwear.

My mom is old enough now that she's passing on jewelry as she feels she hasn't much time left. The pieces that she has passed on that she wore 24/7 are more special to me vs things she'd only wear for special occasions. It's funny as they're truly inexpensive plain gold pieces. I guess they imprinted in my memories, seeing them on her so much they were a part of her. She's given me several substantial diamond rings that are to be passed to my daughters and I never wear them. They were newer purchases for her and they don't have any association for me at all. I guess I should wear them more so I can leave them to my daughters with the memories of their mom wearing them.

All rings are off when around the house. This way they don't get scratched by doing everyday stuff, nor do they get hand cream etc. all over them. I put them on to go out, and sometimes after I get home I keep them on for a little while (like to see them) but then take them off once I have to start doing things like cooking, dishes, etc. It just feels better and more freeing to not have to be concerned about them, or have to be extra cognizant and careful when I do things.

Years ago I used to keep my wedding rings on but they just became too scratched up from little things when they didn't need to be. And I'm not even rough with my things. It just doesn't take much to scratch them, so after I had a jeweler polish them back up, off they went.

Bracelets might stay on longer if I have them on, but usually I don't.

I take off my earrings to sleep and shower. My daily rings stay on for everything except house cleaning or other activities that I think might damage them. I keep them on while washing hands. Bracelets come off when I’m at home because I tend to knock them into things all day.
