Do you think Rose Texas bag… is hard to carry ?

I found this thread while researching rose texas! So my mom is giving me the Picotin in this color later this year (when I go back home) and I am so mesmerized by the pictures she sent me! She told me it looks very different under different lightings and it could look pink ish or orange ish. I have attached some pics. I typically only wear neutral colored clothes (lots of blacks and whites!) so I’m hoping I’ll be able to pull off this color:smile:

I passed on this bag at the airport couple years ago. It was coral/orange like your first picture and I only like cool tone pink. I’m sure you’ll make it work and so lucky to get it from your mom!

I think Rose Texas is such a fun color. It's a little fuchsia, I've seen it in an Apple Hermes watch band.

I also don't think it's hard to carry this color in small doses. Buy a pair of flats or heels in similar hue or a belt, or any type of accessory and wear some neutral colored outfits, then the whole look can be pulled off beautifully. You don't have to go all out like a celebrity (you can if you want to), but Rose Texas is easy on neutrals. Think of it as the new red. It's so much fun!

Got this Chanel WOC. It's a similar idea. Whenever my outfit is a bit drab, I just carry my WOC to spice it up!

Great advice! That’s exactly what I was thinking… I sold my pink Victoria elan bag last year and now I have zero bag with a pop of color so I’ve been craving for another bright colored bag :) I’m glad to hear that rose texas should work great with neutral colored outfits! Also, your birkin and Chanel are drop dead gorgeous!

Thank you for your reply and this is good to know :) I actually love coral so I’m super excited! I just think it’s crazy that rose texas could look so different depending on the pic. Yes… I am beyond grateful and it will be my forever bag :)

True color especially H's are so hard to capture. Really have to see in person when you're picky like me LOL

I was just about to make this exact point. I have a chanel vanity bag in a coral color and I find it just the perfect pop of color, especially when packing for vacation somewhere fun/sunny. It feels like a staple in some sense in my handbag collection, but I wouldn’t own more than one personally

Thank you. I enjoy a pop of color and I decided to take a break from red. Pink is the new red btw and I think it's here to stay, all shades of the color. Fashion is supposed to be fun.

Rose Mexico, Rose Texas, and Rose Azalee are three shades I like. Perhaps the bands depict the color more accurately.

My SA asked me if I’m interested in a Birkin 25 in Rose Texas with swift leather. I’ve been looking at pictures of it online but there were not many in swift (mostly epsom and togo). In some pics it looks more of a coral/orange pink color. Does anyone here have this color in swift leather and how does it actually look in real life?

I’m curious if you ended up getting the bag ? Would like to see !❤️

I have a mini Lindy in this color. I am pretty happy with it. I wanted a more saturated pink because I heard ostrich colors fade over time.
Oh my. What a pop of color and in ostrich too! Divine! I'm in love with the mini Lindy. I went conservative and got it in plain etoupe! It was the only one I could find, but I play it up with colored twillys.

Enjoy yours!
