Do you take off your engagement ring when getting a manicure?

I use the jewelry cleaner that the nail salon provides while I'm having a manicure.

Whoa, talk about great customer service. Is it sitting near you?? That way to make sure no one steals it??

And this is a great question, I always feel weird when they're doing my nails with the file and the machine. It scares me.

I always carry a small pouch to put them in. They go directly in my purse with my watch. Before she applies the polish, I put them back on.

I dont know if you guys are familiar with solar nails (thats what I get) there is no polishing involved, they use powders (pink & white, or pink & color), then they use the cream polisher and buff them out... so I just leave my wedding rings on...

I take mine off and put it in my wallet when I get a mani. I don't want the dust from my nails being filed and the lotion getting in my ring!

My rings are on the table next to me!! My manicurist--is that a word--doesn't use any machines and my rings are out of the line of fire...err...filing

I take mine off and put them back on just before she puts on the polish.

I couldn't wear them as I get a parrifin wax dip and all that cream/oils would make them disgusting.
