Do you regret getting the Saddle bag?

I absolutely love mine, is one of those bags I’ve wanted when they were first launched but couldn’t really afford them. Then they relaunched it have been waiting for the right colour and when this appeared I just had to get it and I think I will have it forever. I actually find it practical and fits my essentials, but again I’ve loved it forever so maybe I’m a bit biased

I love mine, but it’s the mens saddle with ergonomic adjustable seat belt strap. It can be carried crossbody, on the side of one’s body or on the back, and it has NO hardware. Love it. It’s a great travel bag (durable and can be squashed flat) so long as you can acclimate to the zipper running along the vertical side of the bag. (I am careful removing things, and I like the flap that snaps over the zipper). I’m not a fan of the women’s versions. I also had to grow into my ‘like’ for a Dior saddle bag. I positively hated it (loathed and despised it) when it first came out many years ago. So you need to be very sure, IMO.

ETA: the second pic is my dream bag if I had an unlimited budget and a rock star life (my SA was happy to let me try it on, but for 30K plus USD it will not happen, and he knew how I felt

Now you know I love everything about this croc saddle except the price lol. Wouldn’t it be awesome if someone takes the hit for you and it appears on secondhand market for fraction of the price.

I used to hate the shape too, but it grew on me more and more that I ended up purchasing one two plus years ago in 2021. No regrets! I love my saddle which I believe is an iconic bag Dior bag. No regrets having her in my collection.

I love my saddle bag. I buy bags that I love right now and do not worry about what I will love in a few years, nobody knows what they will love years down the line.

When it first came out, I was a teenager and I couldn't afford the $600 price tag in the country I was living at the time. Come 2020 when I 'returned' to tPF, I realised the bag was re-released in 2018 and I promptly got myself one in ultramatte. For me, it was a nostalgic purchase. I don't have it anymore and would love to get another one.
