Do you regret getting the Saddle bag?

Hey everyone :heart:
I 've been in love with the Saddle bag for the past few months but wonder if it's going to be a bag I will love for a long time. I used to not like the shape the first time I saw it and I'm not sure if it's a current love or a bag I will still be happy about in a few years. Normally I would just wait but with the prices increasing all the time I'm worried I will have to pay a lot more. To all the Saddle bag owners: Do you regret your purchse or do you still love your Saddle bag?

I love mine, but it’s the mens saddle with ergonomic adjustable seat belt strap. It can be carried crossbody, on the side of one’s body or on the back, and it has NO hardware. Love it. It’s a great travel bag (durable and can be squashed flat) so long as you can acclimate to the zipper running along the vertical side of the bag. (I am careful removing things, and I like the flap that snaps over the zipper). I’m not a fan of the women’s versions. I also had to grow into my ‘like’ for a Dior saddle bag. I positively hated it (loathed and despised it) when it first came out many years ago. So you need to be very sure, IMO.

ETA: the second pic is my dream bag if I had an unlimited budget and a rock star life (my SA was happy to let me try it on, but for 30K plus USD it will not happen, and he knew how I felt :)

Thank you for your reply! I never thought about looking at the men's bag, I really like this version. It's good to know that you too used to hate the Saddle bag and now love it :lol:

I love them both for different purposes! The oblique bag is best when my clothing is a little more "plain" and seems better suited for daytime/the goatskin bag (which is cloud blue) has a beautiful sheen which makes it seem a little dressier. I feel so lucky to have both!
