Do you prefer wearing just a Rolex/Patek or fine jewelry or both

I'm hands down a watch geek and collector. Watch on the left wrist and if a bracelet is worn it will be on the right. Never together because I don't want anything scratching my watches. I own a few watches that have either diamonds or mother of pearl or both. This gives me the "jewelry" element instead of wearing multiple on a wrist. If I had a choice or my house was on fire, the watches are number one.

This may be controversial, but I consider watches in the same category as bracelets. I don't even bother or rather forget winding my watches half of the time, so they serve the exact same purpose as a bracelet would. I use my phone to tell time even when wearing a watch. I would be careful to avoid scratches though.

I've been wearing a watch for over 20 years. It's a SS TAG that I still have and love, but recently bought a Rolex that I wear by itself on my left wrist and my regular LOVE bangle, small JUC and trinity cord on my right wrist. I like the watch to be by itself.

On my left I wear my Rolex and my Cartier baby trinity cord bracelet and on my right I've been wearing a couple of very old gold "no-name" bangles and some super cheap little colored bead bracelets--since it's summer and I'm wearing shorter sleeves having something a little fun (the super cheapo bead bracelets) with some gold bangles says "summer" to me.

I personally don’t think there is a rule. I don’t wear a watch and bracelet on the same wrist as I don’t like the sound they make hitting each other and the inevitable scratches.

The watches that I wear alone are my watches with exceptional faces. I have a hand painted face Patek Philippe and a Hermès millefiori face by Saint Louis. The two are miniature art pieces, so I prefer them alone.

All my other watches I tend to wear with a statement bracelet on the other wrist. I like for the metals to be the same tone unless the bezel of the watch is pave with diamonds. All my watches have relatively small cases and are all on straps, so they rarely clash.

Now, this may just be me, but I don’t like wearing a ring larger than the watch case on the same hand. This is rarely an issue except when I wear my pave faubourg watch.

I thought about doing that, too. I am going to order a small LOVE bangle to stack with my regular one and my small JUC, but thinking that with my trinity cord it would be too much, so I thought about wearing it on my left wrist with my watch. Does it look good?

Fine jewelry only.
My watch is my iphone :D. I bought a Tag a long time ago but only wore it a few time because even when wearing it I still looked at my phone to check the time :D. So I decided to not buy watches and use the money to buy more jewelry instead.
I think its better to get one unique watch and wear it on its own on one wrist, so it stands out. Wear bracelets on the other wrist.
