Tory Burch Do you like this Tory Burch dress

I like Tory Burch dresses. I just purchased the Julia Dress in a bold butterfly pattern.
the trick is to simplify your accessories.

For day, I would throw on a camel cardigan, and camel pumps. Very simple jewelry--if any...

But I do like the pattern. very retro. Just don't let the "dress wear YOU..."

It doesn't look like Tory Burch; I think you can find something very similar for less.

I like the dress but I think that print is hard to pull off and really limits what the dress can be used for.

I get that this pattern is not for the majority. I have some pretty bold pieces from TB. But most people who are around me know that retro is my style. That being said, I generally don't go for patterns, so every few months I like to put on a bold piece to wake things up.

That dress is fine---if it NOT going to be a staple in your wardrobe, but rather pulled out when you want to add a little "punch". And it should be worn with neutrals. But if you like the pattern, and it fits in with who YOU are.... enjoy!

I am a pattern person and also really love DVF for that reason. The print on this dress is really large though and may be too large a scale for most people. I love the print but would have to see it on the person to see if it "fits".
