Do you have bags in similar colors and styles?

It's always a conundrum with me
A bag catches my eye, but its similar to something I already have.
I have a black city tote with buster le favue but the black market tote with wild print lining is so pretty! Then I look around and see that most my bags are black in pebbled leather..
I also like to stick to similar styles in different colors such as the borough and patchwork swagger. And how many totes is too many?? It's my most functional bag because it's lightweight and can fit my laptop. Sigh..

They are all beautiful. Well, I think black is different from all other colors because it's so basic. It's fine to have a few black bags.

5 black -3 Coach, 1 Cole Haan, 1 Dolce &Gabbana
4 brown, but they're different shades, ranging from taupe to dark brown - 2 Coach, 1 Ferragamo, 1 Lauren Ralph Lauren
4 that are a mix of black and brown - Coach, Fendi, Sonia Rykiel, Dooney & Bourke

Other colors I only have one of:
pinkish purple Coach
blue Coach
multi-colored Emilio Pucci
red & black Abaco

@Galaxygrrl haha thank you! Perhaps so, but I can't justify another black tote!! Next on my wishlist is a 2016 hologram market tote as well as the wild beast/black market tote. Not only are the two are similar to each other but I already have a black Keep trying to tell myself that I don't need to have every bag that catches my eye.

Buy the bags. Sell the ones you don't use.

I own two Nomad crossbodies, one in burnished saddle and one in aubergine. I bought two because I love the look and the size of the bag is very practical for me. I haven't worn either in a while, though, need to pull them out once the weather decides it wants to not rain or snow every other day. As for black bags, I definitely own more than I should haha.

I tend to not get similar colors (though I do have 3 bags that are different tones of pink) but I have a ridiculous amount of Edie's. I love the style.

I try not to double up on similar colors, but I do tend to double up on styles. If I like a bag a lot, I'm highly likely to purchase it in multiple colors. For example, I have multiple Swagger 27's, MK Selma Medium Satchels, and KS Haydens. I also just ordered my second Rogue. But I have no color duplicates, except for a few clutches that I also have similar (or same) colors in day bags. They're a completely different purpose though so I don't see that as doubling up.

I have a LOT of black bags, a few grey, a few burgundy, and a few cognac/tan. What can I say, I like my bags to be neutral.

Stylewise, though, I don't have duplicates aside from my Rogue (though one is a 36 and the other is regular) and 2 Neverfulls (different prints).

I have three black bags, but they are all different and used for different purposes. I do have two Rogues that are the same size/color and one in the 25 size, I also have two Bleecker Daily bags in two different colors, only because I love their functions and use the most.

I am the opposite of you! I had 10 bags before I bought a black bag (Ace Satchel). I’m addicted to silver/grey and blue bags.

I do buy similar styles but tend to not repeat a color. If I find a style functional, why not have several. At least they get used if I find the style pleasing.

I've gotten rid of many of my duplicate styles. There are always new styles to tempt me so I'm trying to only get one of the exact same style, but I have several bags that are similar colors, and many that serve the same function.
