I love it. Where did you buy online? I know Cartier will service and clean/polish the watch for free if you purchase it from them. I was going to get one from NM and they said they only clean/polish if you purchase from the boutique!
can't wait to see pics.

I don't own one but I have always wanted to. Of all designer watches, the Chanel J12 and Cartier Roadster are my favorites. It's just such a perfect, classic, excellent looking watch.

I have a Cartier Tank Francaise, but a Roadster is next on my list (or maybe Rolex) but I am confused by the scratching issue. I wear my tank literally everyday in every situation and it doesn't have a single scratch on it. Is it brushed stainless like the tank?

I also own a SS tank & several othe SS watches & none of them scratch like my roadster & I think the reason it scratches is because it's not a matt finish it's a shiny highly polished finished & every Roadster I've seen are all scratched but at least you can get it polished every couple of years, I prefer to wear my SS datejust with a jubilee strap or my J12 they just don't seem to scratch even when I wear bracelets with them but I still love my Roadster.

I bought my roadster around the same time the ballon bleu came out. I agree that the roadster bracelet scratches very easily. In hindsight, I wish I had bought the Ballon Bleu instead....now I'm lusting for it...c'est la vie. We always want what we don't have....

My sweetie gave me a ladies s/s for our anniversary last November and I love it!! I am so happy, I'd been dreaming about the roadster for a while. :D
After reading about how easily it scratches I'm very careful while wearing it and so far so good. The watch is a little on the heavy side but I quickly became used to the weight.

I have both the Roadster and J12 and love both of them. I think the Roadster looks better on my 5 1/4" wrist but it does scratch easily. It is still beautiful, however, with the scratches.

I wear my 33mm J12 a lot more often, especially for work because it is virtually indestructable. It's a lot heavier than Roadster though.

I have the Lady's size in pink too! It's 4 years old, no need to change batter at all *yet* and it's fairly scratched. There is no Cartier in my city so I can't really take it in for polishing but I don't mind the scratches at all! It's my anniversary present from DH!
