880 Please share how you pair down!! I have way tooo many bags and still have not been able to let one bag go yet!! I love your collection!! Of course we both share the same idea about what a "bright" color is!!Your collection is wonderful and looks perfect for everyday! BTW do you use the PB40 much or are your more a birkin/kelly girl? TIA!

I love every bag I had: the aesthetic, the artistry, craft, patina, skin. But
I feel guilty if I don;t wear bags so here are questions I ask myself:

1) whether a bag comes out for a tpf action shot and then goes back in the closet - meaning is it a bag museum closet piece that I cherish on a pedestal;
2) whether a bag can hide out in another closet and if I don;t rummage for it/miss it for say x months;
3) whether there is another bag of the bag set that I reach for as my "go to" bag instead of the one in question;
4) is it a bag that serves many functions or merely my "imaginary life." Like this bag would be perfect for a tpf tea party in _insert city or place in which I don;t live.
5) has my taste morphed slightly; for example, I used to prefer chanel bags for silver hw and H for gold hw - now I've decided I like H for phw and don;t wear as much chanel. . . etc.

In this economy, I also feel better (JMO) having fewer pieces that I treasure more.

And (sorry for the long winded response), I still think of myself as a sellier kelly gal because I adore the sleek, architectural line and slope, but I do use my paris bombay a lot. Most people probably use a bag for practicality - like shoulder aspect, but the paris bombay makes me so happy whenever I look at the folds at either end. I love how fjord is such a contrast to box; yet more structured and not not as smushy like togo or clemence. And its matte velvet quality and pronounced grain makes me think of exotic (am a fan of non h exotic)

Note: JMO, the strap in fjord is not as comfy as a canvas strap or kelly strap because it is shaped and rigid. And the PB stands away slightly from the body which is something to think about - meaning not for everyone. To me though, it serves the function of a bolide or Web in my H collection and the fact I got it for 60 % off at the Hermes Sample Sale only adds to my happiness.

Julide, thank you! KP is matte lizard, and I have had 40 barenia/crinoline kelly for almost 10 years now. ...lol... I totally understand what you mean. I thought I only needed one red bag. Um... after seeing all gorgeous red bags, I am not quite sure about it now...

Thanks! I love it. Here are a few more pics. There was one of these in a back inside window at the San Diego Hermes last summer. You could check to see if it is still there. These are such user friendly bags~and the strap doubles as a cool belt! Just sayin'
