I have two that I regret! The MFF turquoise patent "Ali" style and my bottle green large leather flap Bleecker. I love the Bleecker, its just too small! I'm thinking about selling them so I can justify a new bag!
Makes perfect sense to me as I am the same way! These are probably older bags that have been replaced in my heart with newer bags, and I have a pretty good bag turnover due to the fact that I tend to love my newer bags more than my older ones.
I have a denim patchwork shoulder tote from a few seasons ago that my husband bought me for my birthday. This one has a hook closure. I really wanted the one with the zipper closure. I love wearing the bag, but I'm always worried about my stuff falling out of it. He offered to exchange it for me & sometimes I really wish I would have.
I don't have any regrets...I have to LOVE the bag and I think long(too long sometimes) and hard before I buy it...due to funds, etc. I usually buy full price..( I know.. crazy..) due to not getting any PCE's or not wanting to drive the hour to the outlet.
I have no regrets with my bags. I buy what I love and what I think I will be able to use at least year or two from now. I tend not to go with trendy bags anyway so feeling regretful hasn't been a problem. Yet.
Yes, unfortunately I bought a Burberry Mini Dassett in white leather. Looks really cute, but it is so awkward to use. It's difficult to get in and out of and it hardly holds anything. Thankfully, I got on sale for a great price, but I still wish I'd passed on it.
Yes I do. My Treesje Asher in fuchsia. The bag is gorgeous and so is the color, but it does not suit my lifestyle, so it's sitting there, never used and lonley.
Yes, plenty! It's weird that before I got them, I so coveted them and have been hunting ebay almost everyday hoping they would pop up and they did! I was initially excited but as time goes, the feelings seem to wane to the point that it sometimes irks me when I see those bags. I guess it's the process of hunting that got my adrenaline rushing...not so much of getting the physical bags...I think I may have a problem..impulse buying.
when i think back, yes i have one bag regret. It was purchasing my YSL reversible bag (pewter/black leather) because i just broke up with my boyfriend at the time and needed a shopping pick me up. i'm so mad at how much i spent on that bag....at the same time, at least i picked the right color (pewter/black instead of the purple/brown or bronze version....which allows me to use the bag for many seasons to come...the problem is i never use it ).....
I have had bags that I have regrets about. Usually it is within a week of purchase and they haven't been used, so they go back.
I have had some that I just outgrew and I sold them. I am currently have some regret on a bag I own. It was a final sale because it is a current bag they gave me a sale price on. I was seduced by the price. I like it, but I don't love it and I wonder how practical it will be to match and carry. Oh well.
