Just curious if you have a bag in your collection, whether it have been an "impulse buy" or a bag that just isn't functional (e.g. doesn't match anything, too dressy and you don't get to wear it, too heavy so you don't use it, too trendy and the trend is over, too small, etc.), that you regret buying?

I was recently going through all of my bags and I can honestly say I am happy with all my bags and really can't think of a bag I wished I didn't get (or I ended up returning it already, which happens when I am shopping at lunch and have to grab it up then decide later b/c it will be gone when I get back after work). I might not get to wear all of my bags for various reasons (usually color) but I love all my bags and am happy with each purchase (wish I could say the same about my clothes/shoes :p)

So what about you? Have a bag you regret getting? If so, what is it about the bag?

I can safely say NO :D Due to limited funds and design availbilities over here, I only buy what I like and love. I don't do "maybes" because the local FPs don't allow returns. When I buy from my online seller, I can't do returns or exchanges or refunds either. So yeah, I have to be completely sure about each purse before paying

No Coach regrets.

There are 2 Tokidoki's that I hastily bought settling for pattern placement, but later found a placement I LOVED on those bags. So the 2 I wasn't sure about I gave to my best friend & her 13 year-old daughter to share. And they love them.

I have 1 D&B that I don't *regret*, but I don't *love* it. It was one of my early bags and I was looking for something to match a specific pair of shoes/work clothes. So it's perfectly funtional for work, mathches some of my outfits and those shoes perfectly, but it's a little too business-like for me to luuuuuuv it. But it's a totally appropriate bag. I just don't LUUUUUUUV it like I do all my Coach, LV and Tokidoki and my scrumptious velvet Gucci.

I must say that I am honestly happy with all my bags as well...I also dont wear all my bags on a regular basis but I am content with each purchase. I have never returned a bag because I try and step back for a second and see if I really want the bag or if i just want it because its a good price or so on...overall I love my collection right now :happydance:

I started buying Coach when I was 13 and only had to carry pens/pencils, a student id, and my cell phone. Now I am 19 and I have a LOT more to carry including a bulky planner! So I definitely regret all the money spent on the smaller bags I got. I sold off a few but didn't get anywhere near what I paid for them (and didn't expect too- they were 5 year old siggy bags). So I wish I had gotten bigger bags back then that I could use now!

I love all my bags but I am constantly changing them and wanting new ones. So I have to sell some sadly to get new ones.

Their is one I just bought on the bay a buy it now option and I am having second thoughts on it now. I hope once I get it I will love.

hm.. I alwayz make sure they bag I buy are the one I love.. I usually know constantly the minute I see the bag.. If there doubt about it for split second then it need to be put back on the self.. Each one of my bag are very special in their own way.. I must admit there are some impulse buy but I will return it within a week if I'm not feeling it.. Since I alway constantly buying bag and having so many bags.. There are only regret that I have it's not giving them as much love..

If you are talking about accessories, there are so many..

Off the topic I think this is the great think about Coach there is no time limited on returning an item.. I'm not saying it's ok to return an item 5 years down the road, but there no rush of deciding if you love the item or not..

I don't regret my Coach purchases, because it's alot of money for me to spend on a bag. Other bag purchases I have regretted. Usually I'm looking for a specific color and I find a handbag that is somewhat or close to what I'm looking for but not exactly what I want - the best of what's available.

i'm careful about my coach purchases, but i have a little bit of buyer's regret over the signature stripe satchel in gunmetal grey. i had initially purchased it because i hadn't planned on buying the sabrina, so it was going to serve as a substitute. but since i now have a sabrina, it's like having two similar bags, a redundancy i don't like...

I have to admit that yes, I have regretted some of my purchases. I think I rushed into buying certain things just because I had a PCE or saw a great buy at the department store. Fortunately, I was able to return the item(s) that I just didn't love.

I also have to admit that I regretted buying my first Coach bag. I got a gift certificate from my boss a few years ago and raced to the boutique. I purchased a large khaki/black siggy Carly. I honestly didn't see anything else in the store, and didn't realize that they get new merchandise every month, so I felt that I just had to get whatever they had. Don't get me wrong, it was a beautiful bag, but I'm just not much of a siggy fan and the bag was way too big for me, so I ended up selling it on ebay.

Yes, the legacy striped tote I bought 2 years ago. It's beautiful to look at but the bottom corners look like they're fraying and I'm too afraid to carry it. It's only been used a handful of times.

I have had many coach regrets... I am trying to limit my purchases now so I dont have so many. I am bad about impulse shopping and buying colors that I love but then have a hard time wearing with my wardrobe. I will sell the ones that dont work on ebay usually. It's all good.

I don't have bags I really regret buying (I return those right away.) I do have a couple bags that I wish I would have held OFF on because I did stumble upon something later that I could have put the funds towards. I'm at a HAPPY PLACE with my collection right now.

My last "must have" was a black leather Ergo tote w/ legacy lining, the others are all just wishes in the BIG Coach wishing well.

No, because I return those right away. I was stuck for awhile with a Dooney & Bourke bag that I didn't like anymore but finally sold it.
I love all the Coach bags I've got now but probably will thin them out just for the sake of reclaiming closet space.
