I now have two light bags. I've already moved into my new shell pink Alex. My other one, a pearl Penelope tote, is waiting for an occasion to bring her out. The details on the Penelope are wonderful. She shows like a FP bag and not a MFF.

I've attached a couple pics showing a few of the details.

Agree with you about that Pearl Penelope- I love the details. If I didn't already have the Pearl Alexandra I'd have that one. Hopefully shell pink Alex will be in my permanent collection too soon!

I've been using my Parchment City Willis off and on for the last several weeks. She's lovely in the Spring. Pic was taken when brand new, but she still looks clean and lovely.

And my Stardust Poppy Hippie. With a little Apple Rain & Stain guard on her, she stays remarkably clean.

LOVE the Putty Patent Kristin Pleated Satchel!!

I don't do light colored bags. I have one and it gets color transfer easily. I had another that I returned. I wear jeans all the time and I don't want to have to worry. My lightest bags are yellow and pink.

Like whateve, I don't do light colored bags either. The closest I will get is something like British Tan. I wish I did though. I really liked that Madison Whipstitch Tote that was out last year or so. Odd, because I normally wouldn't do siggy either even though it was a leather siggy. It was just so pretty. It reminded me so much of a beautiful white applique quilt. I came so close to buying it but I knew I wouldn't carry it. Occasionally I carry my red Fossil or UV duffle but I otherwise, it's always brown and black.

I love light color bags for spring and summer. I'm recycling pics and didn't want to take the time to edit out the darks. Have another on the way :D

I also wear jeans all the time to work. To avoid color transfer I make sure the shoulder bags don't hit above my waist or if they don't I hand carry.

Light bags make me feel like it is summer and vacation time...:sunshine:

You have a lovely collection! I just saw your pics the other day; I forget what thread I was going through and I was admiring your bags....That white/navy woven bag to the left looks super awesome. What designer is that? I've never seen it before.

Another bag I'd love to do if I did light colors is DB's Florentine Bone color. Oh, it is BEAUTIFUL! Not a white-white and super soft looking--but, I just don't do light colors......

Beautiful collection! Top picture, yellow one on the right - with woven sides - is that a Cole Haan....or? Thank you!

On topic - I've never been afraid to carry a light bag - granted, I baby my bags, but not in excess (on the seat, not the floor, make sure I don't have lotion on hands etc).... However - I bought the large Preston Sea Mist - and haven't carried it yet. It's such a large area of leather (for lack of a better way to put it)... I'm leary of dirt and color transfer...... just love this color! .... and so afraid to deface her.....

I'm afraid this soft pebbled leather will easily show marks.....
