I've been spoiled after owning a few nice designer leather handbag. I do own a canvas bag from LV. With that being said, I don't think I can bring myself to buy a $200 synthetic bag when I can save a couple hundred more and get myself a Marc by Marc Jacobs leather bag.

I had a coated canvas Coach wallet which worked for me because I was living in a city (and later moved to a really big city) and wanted something easy to clean. After it broke down after 5 or 6 years, I went with a leather wallet. I don't own any synthetic bags, but if I had to purchase one (besides Longchamp, if I had to), I wouldn't spend more than 30. It just seems...cheap to me? I would rather put $200 towards a buttery leather bag instead. But that's just me!
Ok thanks ladies! I think you are all right and I should stay away from faux leather. I needed a new tote for work but I finally decided on one (watch for the reveal later tonight). I guess I was tempted by the $200 price tag but I definitely do not want a bag that will look or feel cheap or will die on me in a month.
