Do any of you ladies wear men's or mid-size Rolex?

HI! I have a couple friends who like the full men's (36mm) size more than the midsize (31mm).

What do you ladies have? What made you choose it?

I hope this isn't wierd to ask, but for those of you that have a large/men's Rolex, would you mind mentioning whether you are a small/med/large build, petite/ave/tall?

Thanks! Can't wait to hear what you all say!

My mom has a vintage Rolex that was my grandfather's (her father). She wears it mostly for sentimental value and because something like that deserves to be worn. I think it is the larger size, but it looks great on her. She is of average build/wrist size. If it is of any help to you, my PM Hermes Clic-Clac was too small for her.

I like the mid-size rolex best on all size frames. I think some people can carry off the larger men's size (mostly taller and thinner women) IMO. I wouldn't buy the largest size because I think it is a trend and it is safer to go with mid-size so it won't look silly in 6-10 years or when big watches are not as "in".

I kind of agree. I have many large watches that are the size of the men's Rolex, but if I were to get one for myself, I would get the mid-size. The ladies version is much too small for me, but I would want to keep it classic and not go too large with that kind of watch.

I will wear one of my husbands every now again...depends on what Im wearing. He has such unique choices, so its fun to mix it up a bit. I have a midsize, and 3 ladies sizes. So I guess I like all sizes!!

I've worn my dad's Rolexes before. I'm 5'7"/ size 12 and my wrists are ~7", so I can definitely pull off a bigger watch. In fact, many women's watches look way too dainty on me and the bands are too short.

I find the men's size too large.
I wear a mid-size. It's a nice size without being too "dainty" like the ladies one for me.
I'm petite - 5'2" and 110lbs... my wrists are normal to small... this pic might help. For reference, I wear a 17 in Cartier bracelets.

I used to wear my fiance's 36mm before I got this 31mm. The larger sizes just seem more "new school" Rolex to me, and I wanted something a little more of a statement. I like the men's once in a while, but I felt this midsize would suit my taste better over time. I'm about 5'4- but really 5'8 cause I'm always in 4 inches heels, small to medium build.

I prefer men's sizes , and I have one midsize. I had a men's Air-King (like Jennifer Aniston has been seen to wear), a Mens Datejust (slightly larger than the Air-KIng, and have a Stainless Steel Submariner, my favorite. I sold the two smaller men's, to save up for a Gold Submariner. I had a two-tone Blue Sub, I liked it, too, but also sold it. Rather have fewer watches that I really love.

I have a couple of non-Rolex ladies' when the occasion is a little dressy and a big watch won't look right. Black dials with gold or silver hands, so I can read them, even if they are small.

I used to wear ladies' Rolex, but now that I am at bi-focal age, I can't read the small dials, and even my midsize is a little difficult - it is 18K gold with a silver dial and diamond bezel. I am thinking maybe I should change out the dial to white and maybe I'll be able to see it better!

I wear a Date model, which is 34mm. Mine is a SS/18K with an Oyster band, smooth YG bezel and and a white arabic face. I love it for every day because I can see it without having to wear my glasses, yet it's not as clunky as a 36mm was to me. It's actually somewhere between a 31mm Mid and a 36mm Men's Full Datejust.

-so you find the white easy to read? Do you mind if I ask your age, or you can merely tell me if you are getting around to the age of not seeing up close;)

I don't want to spend the money to cahnge my silver dial, if white is not much different...
