Darn you Coach! Rock Star b/w Rexy is such a cutie and expensive too. Errrrrr! Please share photos for those of you who have indulged in this beast.
Did you see the runway ones? I liked the runway punk rexy's with the mohawk plus piercings and even a couple of them with chains, but I wasn't so enamored with them that I bought one.....I'll spend a good bit on a keychain or charm that I want, but $395 plus tax

I have only gotten into bag charms this past year and I almost fainted when I saw those super cool Fendi Bag Charm prices!! You could order a custom Rogue bag for LESS than one of those. I DID splurge on the Felix Car charm ($295) to match my Felix Chalk Rogue. So this B&W Rexy will be my last charm for a while. I like the neutral-ness of it and that its leather, as my Felix charm is mixed metals.
I have been drooling over the MCM Rabbit line of charms too, but the more elaborate ones are also close to $400!
Most designers are smart enough to cash in on the charm/keychain trend, and us suckers are ready, willing and able, haha! I think a majority of them are extortion rate prices...I'd hate to learn what the markups are on those!
I'll have to check the Runway Rexy's -- piercings and Mohawks??
Haha, I referred to Rexy as a "HE"...it's funny how we assign genders to inanimate objects isn't it?

I'm glad you're so happy about your Tricky coin purse EBay win. I had grabbed the coin purse on one of those holiday specials (I think 30%), and just lucked out that they hadn't yet sold out. I also got the Blue (Steggy?) but not the yellow Wooly.
I altered my Tricky's eyes on the coin purse -- I poked a hat pin (with the tiny white head) into the eye sockets to give him a more bling look. Sounds violent the way I described it, yikes.

Sorry to hear about your shopping challenges! Why can you not shop from the U.K. site? Cost prohibitive in shipping?
I think it's so pricey due to its extra large size, like all the other huge Rexys.
Google 'coach punk rexy' and click on images, the first three photos should be of three of them. I can't remember for sure, but I think there was 5 different ones.
I saw the runway Rexys- those were a few months ago? I loved them but by time I first laid eyes on those boys, they were long gone. I know it is a lot to spend. My frame of reference is LV and Hermes both of which I have beaucoup bag charms acquired over the past 25 years. So Coach is still a little more reasonable but they are getting to be expensive too, especially the Rexy line. I think it is all a matter of supply and demand too- Rexy is high-demand and a cash cow for Coach and they want to milk it while it lasts.Did you see the runway ones?
